This is a 1950’s converted garage popular today……even incorporating reclaimed wood with exposed beams, wood mantle and wood shelving to reduce our environmental footprint.

The tinyhouse was a labor of love that I renovated to help support my husband’s chemotherapy treatments for stage IV colon cancer.

We provide all linen and bathroom and kitchenette amenities.

Airbnb magazines provided to enjoy…..even poo poo spray.

Television with Dish satellite provided.

Fast Wifi.

Air purifier remains turned on.

We have fully fitted the kitchenette with a stainless steel sink, refrigerator, freezer atop, Copper Chef induction single burner cook top, microwave, coffee maker, air purifier, dishes, glasses, utensils.

The bathroom is brand new with a tub and shower, flushable toilet, sink and wooden table for guest storage.

You can enjoy the fenced in backyard space as well.

Dr. MLK and his wife Coretta Scott King lived just 2 blocks away in a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home with 3,631 sq.ft and raised their young family in 1965.

Dr. King lived here when he was assasinated on April 4, 1968.

Robert F. Kennedy and wife Ethel, Nixon, Jaqueline Kennedy all visited Mrs. King at this family home just 4 days later for Dr. King’s funeral.

The National Park Service has purchased the property and eventually it will open for tours.

You can simply walk from here 2 blocks to view the home, take photos and actually experience where Dr. King wrote many speeches, met with Civil Rights leaders and where all of his children were raised.

Coretta Scott King lived in the home until 2004.

$500M in private funds for revitalization and we are so excited to see new bike paths etc. The City of Atlanta has spent $2.4 M renovating the JFK park directly across the street from the property including a world class soccer field, great for adults, children to play, dogs to be walked.
